First time heard the band:Sometime mid 70's and I think the album was Sin After Sin or Stained Class that my brother had bought.

First record bought:While me and my brother both lived at our parents we liked alot of the same bands and didn't buy 2 of them. Judas Priest was one of the bands that he always bought.
So the first Priest record I bought was Priest...Live in 87. Before that I only had bought singles.

*Remember my big brother giving me money so I could bike down to the record store to buy him the Painkiller album on the day it was released.
None of us had heard a single thing of it yet. So when I came home I couldn't wait till he got home so I put the record on.
And after a few seconds in my jaw was dropped and I loved it and thought hmm my brother will hate what have become of his favourite band.
And I was right. Still to this day I'm not sure he really likes the Painkiller album cause it was just too much metal for him ;)
