Debut album from Italian metalband Clairvoyants.
There's a lot of Iron Maiden influences on the album.
And no wonder when the band started as a Iron Maiden coverband back in 2001.
Word To The Wise is a great first album.
Hopefully this is just the beginning for the band to make more of their own
songs.
The opening track Journey Through The Stars is a great kick ass opener.
Filled with the fuel & drive that many of the Maiden album openers have
had through the years like Aces High,Tailgunner & Be Quick Or Be Dead.
Along with the 9 original songs there's a cover of Iron Maiden's "Halloweed
Be Thy Name".
And it's a brave choice for a cover but the band sure pulls off a fine version
of it..
